From the very beginning, we knew that the Engler’s were seeking a balance of beauty and functionality throughout their home. We partnered to bring their “refined cabin” dreams to life in the kitchen, pantry, laundry room, bathrooms, and staircase.
"From our first encounter with S&S, they listened to us with what we wanted and gave very constructive consultations,” Joan said.
One of Joan’s favorite things about her kitchen is the layout and how well it functions. As she’s cooking, she can just pivot from the sink to the stove to the trash.
Beautiful Spaces That Work
Their project included special features like a hickory staircase, a custom dog door, and a fabricated beam to beautify a support pillar that was an eyesore.
“This is not our first home,” Joan said. “We’ve lived in different parts of the world and built other homes ourselves or had them contracted. We found Chris very responsive and professional. The workmanship is above and beyond."
